Publisher Info: After regaining state independence of Latvia in 1991, the Latvian Civil Code of 1937, as amended gradually reinstated. The Latvian law and practice are thus based on this still Zivilgsetzbuch and its supporting ideas. For this reason, it is necessary to know the motives and conceptions of the Code in its history. The first comprehensive, trend-free processing of the Latvian legal history published in 2000, but covered all areas of law and devoted to the Civil Code, as such, just over three pages. In so far today has no adequate discussion of the Latvian Civil Code of 1937 and held its particular history. This gap to close and so far as possible all over different together scattered journals, monographs, libraries and archives relevant sources about the history of the Latvian Civil Code of 1937 was the aim of this work.

The end
On 7 September, I think occur on Schopenhauer Gymnasium in Vienna, which has fulfilled its mission of this blog.
I would like to thank all colleagues and students for the wonderful eight years at the Austrian School in Budapest and wish you good luck at school and for their future life.
It will take a little longer, until I return to the "blogosphere" come back, probably with a new look and a new structure that links will be published in any case here.
Thank you to all my readers.
