Renewing Driving License In Ontario

100 years crossing the English Channel 80 years

On 25 July 1909 was Louis Blériot flew over for the first time the English Channel from Calais to Dover with an airplane. The plane was a self-made monoplane named Blériot XI . The flight lasted 37 minutes, the average Altitude was 100 feet, and the prize won was 1000 British pounds (now about 100,000 €).
